My recent stay at Merlin House was absolutely wonderful. The house was spacious, clean, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the curtains blocked out all the light, ensuring a good night's sleep. I was also impressed with the well-stocked kitchen and the availability of appliances. The house even had a lovely little log fire in the living room, perfect for cozying up on cold evenings. Additionally, the host, Jill, was incredibly helpful and accommodating. my stay at Merlin House was fantastic and I would highly recommend it to anyone in search of a comfortable and welcoming accommodation.
One minor drawback was the driveway, which was a bit tricky to navigate. However, with some careful maneuvering, it was not a major issue.

We stayed at Merlin House for a family wedding and it exceeded our expectations. The cottage was spacious and homely, with well-equipped rooms and plenty of extra blankets. The dining room on the lower level was a hit with our grandchildren, who loved playing pretend underground. The kitchen had everything we needed and more, and having a bathroom with a bath and an en suite in one of the bedrooms was a bonus. The location was ideal, close to shops and main roads, and the heating was already on when we arrived.
We highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent, home from home. We were amazed by the spaciousness of every room, perfect for our family of 3 girls and visiting relatives. The dining room provided a great space for meals and fun board game nights. We couldn't find any faults with the well-equipped kitchen and bathrooms. The house exceeded our expectations and made self-catering easy. Despite being close to a busy road, it didn't cause any issues. The location was ideal for accessing various activities, and the beautiful town of Llangollen was a highlight. We will definitely be returning to this lovely, clean, and well-maintained house. The hosts, Richard and Jill, were excellent in their communication.

Great location, close to various activities. Clean and well-equipped house with plenty of room for a big family. Comfy beds and spacious bedrooms. Loved having an en-suite shower and a bathroom with a bath. The hosts were excellent and made us feel at home. Easy check-in process and clear instructions provided beforehand.
Parking was difficult due to a tricky driveway and being on a busy junction. The Wi-Fi kept cutting out in the lounge, although it was decent in other areas of the house.

The cottage was fantastic, with a homely feel that the pictures didn't do justice. The rooms were spacious, including a full-size dining room. The beds were incredibly comfortable, some of the best I've ever slept on. The hosts were friendly and available for anything we needed. The location was convenient, with a Co-op, chip shop, and pub within walking distance. I cannot recommend this cottage enough.
Although my sister found it noisy at night due to the crossroad traffic lights, it didn't disturb me personally. However, I can see how this could be a minor issue for some guests.

This cozy house is located in a peaceful area, yet conveniently close to shops and major roads. The en-suite shower in the room is great, ensuring a comfortable stay. The hosts are friendly and provide excellent service, making it feel like a home away from home. The house is well-furnished with all necessary amenities, including a spacious dining room for memorable family meals.
One drawback is that the back garden lacks gates, making it unsuitable for dogs and limiting their freedom to roam.
